This Warlingham project involved a large side annex extension designed around practical family use, including accessibility considerations for older occupants.

A glazed roof feature was incorporated to bring light into the annex and open views towards the garden and neighbouring stables.
A level-access wet room was formed to make the bathroom easier to use for occupants with reduced mobility, with the shower area integrated into the floor rather than separated by a raised tray.
A glazed balcony was installed to complement the glazed gable and maintain open views while allowing more light into the adjoining space.
Structural steelwork allowed load-bearing walls to be removed and larger openings to be formed, supporting a more open layout while maintaining the required structural support.
