Structural alterations can transform the relationship between rooms and create the openings needed for a new layout or extension. Harrington Builders undertakes load-bearing wall removals, structural steelwork, large openings, internal reconfiguration and the building work needed to integrate structural changes with glazing, kitchens, services and finishes.
We carry out structural openings and removal of load-bearing walls in accordance with the project’s structural design, including the associated building work needed to form and finish the new space.
Structural steelwork and temporary support are coordinated carefully with the engineer’s design and the sequence of the surrounding construction work.
Structural changes rarely sit in isolation. We coordinate them with extensions, glazing, kitchens, electrical and plumbing services, floors, ceilings and finishes so the altered space works as one complete project.
